Men of God

Behold, a king will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule with justice. A man will be as a hiding place from the wind, and a cover from the tempest, as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land. Is. 32:1-2

There is a time coming in the near future where a King will reign and men will be a hiding place form the wind and storm. But that day is not hear yet . . . or it is?

Jesus is Lord

A King does reign today . . . his name is Jesus! He is King and Lord and He does reign in righteousness. Yes, there will be a visible return one day where this King will reign physically over the earth. Until then, He does reign over His people, the church, as in those places that we invite Him and we pray “thy kingdom come”!

A man will be a hiding place

As Jesus is Lord, we are told that men will be a hiding place and a shelter. So, instead of men living in fear, timidity, and acting like children, men will be a source of strength, security, and faith. You see, men of God are to be a place where families and friends can go to for rest, encouragement and a shelter from the storm. Men of God are to be approchable to find healing, answers, peace and strength. That is men of God!

Time to make Jesus Lord

When Jesus is Lord over men’s lives, there is a transformation that takes place. Men need to grow up from being children. Men need to be healed from the scars of the past. Men need to be delivered from the demonic infestation that has twisted our lives. Men need to grow up into their position of faith, boldness, calling and purpose. Men simply need to make Jesus Lord. Is Jesus is our Lord . . . then we’ll grow up into men of God that can be a shelter, refuge, and a source of rest for those around us.
